Rancho Mirage Forward is a group of like-minded residents committed to keeping our city a wonderful place to live by involving and engaging people of all ages, races, and backgrounds.
We want changes in Rancho Mirage, including:
Ending the “appointed incumbent” loophole, where vacancies are filled by council, and that person then runs for re-election as an incumbent
Moving City Council meetings to 5pm or later, so working residents can participate.
Synching local elections with federal elections, so more residents vote (✅ May 2021)
Adding districting to be more representative of the diversity of our city.
Introduce term limits.
Taking a thoughtful approach to transportation in our city, and planning for the future.
Working more closely with other Coachella Valley cities in areas that improve our lives.
