We want changes in Rancho Mirage, including:
- Ending the “appointed incumbent” loophole, where vacancies are filled by council, and that person then runs for re-election as an incumbent
- Moving City Council meetings to 5pm or later, so working residents can participate.
- Synching local elections with federal elections, so more residents vote (✅ May 2021)
- Adding districting to be more representative of the diversity of our city.
- Introduce term limits.
- Taking a thoughtful approach to transportation in our city, and planning for the future.
- Working more closely with other Coachella Valley cities in areas that improve our lives.
